A recent report by the National Association of Realtors identified some ‘hidden gems’ that real estate investors may want to consider. These ten metropolitan areas are expected to post higher than average housing price appreciation in the new year.
Overall, it should be a good year for investors based on what we know so far. The NAR’s consensus of 20 top economists and housing experts predicts that, in 2022,
- Annual median home prices will increase by 5.7%,
- Inflation will rise 4% and
- The Federal Open Market Committee will twice increase the federal funds rate by 0.25%.
